Cimarron was, and will always be, the vision of Robin and Dan Swaim.  First opened in Elkin, N.C. in 1997, Cimarron served as a gathering place for the local community, as Dan Swaim was able to open a restaurant and give back to the community in which he grew up.  In 2007, the current location became available, and tired of the commute, Dan and Robin decided to relocate the business.  Now, in this spot, Cimarron sits directly on the border between Winston-Salem and Clemmons, and serves as a meeting place between the two towns.  As the years have passed by, our menu has changed dramatically, but the core dishes of the restaurant have stayed the same; with an emphasis on prime beef and southern staples, Cimarron’s menu is a true reflection of the landscape around it.  So, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for choosing to dine with us, and we hope you enjoy your experiences here. Thanks to all of you, Cimarron is truly the place where Winston Salem and Clemmons “Meat!”

Tucked away on Stratford Road, Cimarron is truly Winston Salem's best kept dining secret!
